RSPID is the oldest regular service project in NTU. It was formed in 1985 by Mr Tay Tiong Beng. Over the years, volunteers had been committed to serving this very special group of people, our very own Intellectually Disabled beneficiaries, to be there to help assimilate them into the society.
Aims
- Impart useful social skills and proper ethnics to our Intellectually Disabled beneficiaries to asist their integration into the society.
- To help our beneficiaries gain open employment.
- To create a strong sense of belonging for both our beneficiaries as well as our volunteers.
- To build up strong bond and confidence with the beneficiaries to cultivate a strong sesnse of identity and commitment to the club.
